Rite of Passage- Byron Bay
Jess had quit her job, Annie was in the process of packing her bags to leave indefinitely for Sri Lanka and I had just recently decided to become a uni/beauty school dropout… And what better way is there to celebrate a three man sinking ship than to hit the highway for a good old fashioned road trip?
Yes we were those unoriginal and out-of-work girls who decided to drive in a ridiculously animated and ram-shackled Wicked Campervan from Sydney to Byron Bay. A vagabond and naive trio with incredibly short sighted plans that didn’t know who was Arthur or Marthur, where we were sleeping and God forbid how to change a tyre.
All we knew was that the Sydney-to-Byron trail is a rite of passage of coastal honeypots and inland heaven's that promises one helluva good time.
